Mounting Instructions

iPAD INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the faceplate that is attached during shipment
  2. Using a small Phillips head screw driver loosen the 6 screws in each corner.  About 2 – 3 full turns should be adequate.
  3. Use the provided template to mark with a pencil where you are going to make a cut in your drywall and ensure that your markings are level.
  4. Use a stud finder to ensure that there are no studs or obstructions where you will be making a cut.
  5. Cut a hole in the drywall using a drywall saw 8 5/8” wide by 10 7/8” tall for a vertical installation or 10 7/8” wide by 8 5/8” tall for a horizontal installation.
  6. Place wall mount into the cut opening.  Be sure to fold the black clamps on the backside so they do not impede the installation.  (If using a USB style power cord for charging the device be sure to place the power cord through the opening in the wall mount prior to installing the wall mount.)
  7. Once the wall mount is in the opening, use the small Phillips head screw driver and tighten the four screws.  (Only tighten until the screws are snug.  Over tightening may cause the wall mount to crack.)
  8. Place the device into the wall mount. (Be sure to connect a USB style power cord if necessary.)
  9. The device should be snug in the wall mount.  However, we recommend holding the device in the mount to be certain it does not fall out.
  10. Place the faceplate of your choice onto the wall mount.
  11. Congratulations!  Your installation is complete!
